The sustainability story behind the shuttle: When elm disease struck down the trees in their backyard, Per-Olof and Solveig, owners of the Öxabäck workshop in Sweden, found a way to use every last bough and branch—they started making shuttles. The color of the elm wood ranges from light to darker brown, sometimes with a blush of red. Each and every shuttle is unique. This run of shuttles will only last as long as Per-Olof and Solveig's stock of reclaimed wood.
