Light bar for Öxabäck Lilla loom
Let there be light!
For me, good lighting makes all the difference when weaving. To this end, I designed an elegant "light bar" with LED lights that attaches to the top of the loom. Thomas at AK:s Snickeri in Öxabäck, Sweden, manufactures the wooden bar to fit and match the Lilla loom perfectly. I mount the LED lights once the bars make their way across the Atlantic to the USA. This ensures that the lights match our North American electrical standards. I am excited to offer this Prairie Coast Weaves exclusive lighting solution to you!
The light bar securely anchors to the top of the Lilla loom. If you purchased your Lilla loom from me, your loom is predrilled at the Öxabäck workshop in Sweden with anchor points for my light bar. If you have a Lilla loom from a different retailer, you will need the assistance of a carpenter to drill these anchor points.*
Each energy-efficient LED light section consumes a maximum 1.8 watts while providing a bright 180 lumens. The 100 cm light bar has three light sections. The 80 cm light bar has two light sections.
Each light bar comes with an energy-efficient 24-watt power supply that exceeds required wattage for the lights, providing a safe, longer lasting power source with minimum heat contribution. On/off push button switch located on the light bar. The light bar can be flipped allowing the cord to be placed on either side of the loom.

*An experienced woodworker or carpenter can drill anchor points in your Öxabäck Lilla to accept my light bar using a drill guide (available from any woodworking supply store). I provide detailed installation instructions and a template for where to position these points with purchase of a light bar. Prairie Coast Weaves cannot guarantee a perfect fit for anchor points drilled on looms not sold by us.
